My mother keeps all of the old quilts made by my grandmother in a cedar chest in her bedroom. She was rummaging through them the other day and came across this quilt top. We have no idea where it came from. The fabrics are familiar (some were from old clothes), but we do not know who pieced it together. I had thought it was my mother, but she said no. Perhaps my grandmother was given the fabric from us and she then returned the unbound top? It is compsed of several vintage fabrics, some of them Hawaiian. It has now been added to my incredibly long list of projects to complete.
