Red bean bun, barley tea

This post is a tribute to Aixx. I love to check in daily with her blog to see what tasty Japanese (although, not always) food she has eaten for the day. If it were not for her I would not have had the courage to try natto for the first time which I did this weekend. After lunch, I also went to the bakery to get some buns filled with red and white beans. (My favorite) I complain that the store is far away from me, but I guess I should be thankful. If it were close to my home I would just keep eating Japanese pastry and spending my money on various Japanese books.

Since I was out there I decided to make a stop at the bookstore which is always incredibly dangerous. I was very good. I only purchased a couple of dress books.

I am going to attempt the dress below (maybe) for the fall.

I don't know if I will save this for spring or attempt to make it for fall. It would be cute over tights and tall boots.

Ohmygod, that food blog is incredible! And I watched GG last night, and I think you are right on the money with your headband theory. It was eery what was happening with all the headbands last night.
