Sorry about the picture quality, but it is a small x-ray. I just wanted to post my greatest fear. I went to the dentist today. I have an irrational fear of going to the dentist. No good ever seems to come of it. Everything was good...except what is pictured above. Everything is good... if you don't count the root canal. Tomorrow.

i backed out of my root canal appointment a while back because i just couldn't take it. i'd read too many horror stories about it. how was your experience?

i was incredibly nervous about the whole thing. when the work began i immediately raised my hand because i could feel the drill. i told the dentist and he was very happy to give me more novacane and wait until i was ready. after that, i did not feel a single thing. really. it was not a problem at all. i am the biggest baby when it comes to any dental pain and i am telling you that if you make sure the dentist uses enough anaesthetic you will be absolutely fine. do not put it off. i know you can do it!
i'm glad to hear you did fine! the thing about mine is that i wouldn't have had to have it if my old dentist hadn't screwed it up for me in the first place. that's another reason i'm putting it off because it just ticks me off. but i will think about it!
