Porn break


I am not sure if this is considered food porn, but here is a little nosh break. I was trying out my new silicone bundt cake pan and made this recipe. The jury is still out on the cake pan, but this recipe is pretty fantastic. Make it for someone you really love because it is great. It is moist and buttery with a nice crispy, sugary crust. I would follow some of the advice in the comments section. I left out the mace and I added the 1/4 teaspoon of baking powder. You might want to stick with the suggested oven temperature. I am not sure whether my baking time varied because I lowered the temperature as suggested in the comments, or if it was because of the silicone.
