More stuff I learned...


Remember I mentioned that I am trying to learn how to make things that I usually go out and buy? Well, when I was recently at a rummage sale I came across this great big vintage 3 litre clamp jar with PICKLES across the front. Grabbed it. I came home and taught myself how to make the pickled daikon that I am always spending my money on when I go get Chinese barbecue. I spent less money on this entire 3 litre jar than I do on a little Dixie cup full from the restaurant. Plus, it rationalizes my purchase of the jar.
