I can finally post the finished product that was made from the materials above. I had to wait until after Christmas so that I would not ruin the surprise for my friend. I had found these vintage monogrammed towels at a sale. Unfortunately, this one was rather worn and had some small holes. I decided that I would create something out of this towel in order to present it to my friend for Christmas along with the other towel. I decided to make her a heat pack rice bag and make this towel into the removable/washable cover. The results are below.
