new arrival

This gift is now ready to be taken to the post office so that it can be opened by a new arrival. I posted some of this earlier as a work in progress. I finally finished everything just in time. She arrived one week ago. I am already thinking about the various clothing items I can create for this little fashionista in training.

Onesies
These are onesies of various sizes that I adorned so that she will stand out among her crib crowd.

Quilt

This is the quilt after it has been finished. I hand quilted the hearts in the solid squares. It is a fairly small crib quilt which I made out of thrifted men's dress shirts.

Owl

A small owl I made out of some pastel scraps I had in my pile.
