It is still too hot for me. I do not want to cook anything hot and am too lazy to actually go out and get something. I decided I needed some cool refreshment on this hot summer day. I even treated myself to a little beverage. Do you see that lovely cosmopolitan above? About three seconds after I took that picture half of the contents spilled onto my kitchen counter. I guess someone was trying to tell me I did not need to have a drink.
I made some Thai sticky rice with mango. Not too much heat since I made the rice in the rice cooker and then prepared the rest on the stove.
The main course was green papaya salad. Same recipe. I cannot get enough of that salad on a hot day. Hope you are staying cool....and sober.

What's in your cosmo? I love it so much but can never get it right when I try to make one. Did you make another round after spilling the first one? Can you possibly stop after only one?
It's been very warm here as well. It feels like I step out in a sauna whenever I go out because of humidity of the rainy season.
I just finished what was in the glass and called it a day, but it was really good. This is the recipe I used:
• 1 (1.5 fluid ounce) jigger vodka
• 1/2 fluid ounce cointreau
• 1 teaspoon fresh lime juice
• 1 1/2 fluid ounces cranberry juice
• 1 twist lime zest, garnish
