I find that when I discover a lamp without the shade it tends to sit around my house for ions because I do not really understand the concept of matching shades and bases. I don't think I comprehend the proportion ratio equation. I found the wood base for $4 at a rummage sale earlier in the summer. a few weeks ago I found this shade at the thrift store for $2. I think they go pretty well together, but what do I know?
