I saw this shiny silver vintage Elgin clock at the thrift store and scooped it up. I though t it would be a great item to add to my shop. It was not until I got it home that I noticed a large chip on the bottom back. It is not noticeable at all when it is hung, but I am not sure anyone would want to buy it in that condition. I guess it will have to adorn my own walls. I was so excited about something so bright and shiny that all common sense went out the window.
