My next makeover. Suggestions?

I found this the other day at the thrift store.  It is an old storage set of drawers that I think was for silverware.  It could easily be converted to a very large jewelry box, but I already have plenty of those.  I am thinking that this will be used in my studio/office/workspace.  Possibly to store some tools or hardware.

The inside is nice and clean and lined with some beautiful gold velvet.  I am not 100% sure how I am going to make this baby over.  I do know that the green has to go.  I had a light bulb go off yesterday as to what I might do to it, but I am also open to any suggestions someone might have.
