For some reason I have always admired these shiny vintage ice buckets shaped like apples. I think it is the shape that gets me. That and the fact that it is a bright, shiny object. (ha!) Anyway, I walked into a thrift store the other day and there it was in a huge pile of stuff on a shelf. Mine! I think I might use it as a cookie jar as well. I forgot what a pain it is to shoot such a shiny reflective object.
This weekend I also found these huge Danish mushroom salt and pepper shakers. I must have been hungry when I hit the thrift stores this weekend.
